Attorney Yesenia Rios, Esq. 

Yesenia is originally from New Mexico but was raised in a small town in West Texas. She earned an associate degree from South Plains College and then moved to San Marcos, TX where she earned a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Relations. Yesenia continued her education in Houston, TX where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law and top 10% of her class.  

Attorney Rios is an attorney who cares and prioritizes her clients and her community. As a daughter of immigrants herself, Yesenia finds her drive and passion in immigration law. She knew early on that she wanted to help others and project her voice for those who are often marginalized. While attending law school, she volunteered at various immigration community forums and has had several internships, including interning for non-profit organizations that focused on immigrant’s rights. Yesenia is excited for opportunity and growth. She plans on expanding her legal practice areas to include family law at the Zavala Law Firm.  

In her personal time, Yesenia enjoys painting, visiting museums, dancing, and spending time with her pup Cookie.
